Jesuit Ideals Practiced Daily

Founded in 1900, Loyola School is a Catholic, Jesuit, independent, co-educational, college preparatory, secondary day school located in New York City.

A small school of approximately 200 students, Loyola provides an education that is marked by individual attention and by a close-knit, talented and diverse community of students, parents, teachers and administrators, all collaborating in the education of “women and men for others.”

In the Jesuit tradition, Loyola places the highest value on the care and concern for the whole person – what the Jesuits call “cura personalis.”

The Loyola curriculum provides opportunities for our students to grow intellectually, spiritually, physically and emotionally while challenging them to develop all of their God-given talents and to use those talents in generous service to others.

A graduate of Loyola School is a young woman or young man who understands the value of lifelong learning and who will continue to develop as a leader who is academically excellent, open to growth, religious, loving and committed to doing justice.

For more information, contact the school at 646-346-8131 or admissions@loyolanyc.org, or visit the website: loyolanyc.org.
