La Salle Academy Celebrates Advent with Bishop DiMarzio

Christmas joy was in the air when Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio celebrated an Advent Mass with students and alumni from La Salle Academy, East Village, on Dec. 22. Many students attending the academy that belong to the Diocese of Brooklyn were able to hear the bishop’s homily on the true meaning of Christmas, as well as enjoy an assembly by world-renowned Russian pianist, Katya Grineva.

It was a beautiful way to help remember the true meaning of the Christmas season and to end the calendar year on a hopeful note.”
