The 112th annual Independence Day Parade, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Long Island Assembly No. 703 is set for Saturday, June 24.

Festivities will begin with 9:30 a.m. Mass and awards at St. Paul’s Church, Cobble Hill, and the step-off will immediately follow the ceremonies. Parade will end at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church in Carroll Gardens.

Knights will honor their Brother Knight, NYPD Det. Steven McDonald, posthumously. His son, NYPD Sgt. Conor McDonald will serve as parade Grand Marshal.

The Father John Brogan Community Service Award will be presented to Sir Knight Edgar Perez, a past Grand Knight and District Deputy.
