A Mass of Christian Burial for Judy Agard, business administrator and stewardship director at Our Lady of Refuge parish, Flatbush, for 20 years, was celebrated Sept. 24.
She died Sept. 17 after a long battle with cancer.

Father Michael Perry, pastor, was the main celebrant of the funeral Mass. The homilist was Father Hilaire Belizaire.

Born in Guyana, Agard was a longtime parishioner at Our Lady of Refuge, where she was active in parish life. She spearheaded the organization of and directed the parish food pantry, which currently feeds over 350 people every week.

She was also a Lady of the Holy Sepulchre.

She is survived by her daughter, Sonita Terrell (Cass), and son Andres, and two grandchildren, Ariane and Meridien Terrell.

Burial was in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, L.I.
