A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated July 18 for John Hickey, 50, at St. Raphael’s Church, Sunnyside. He died suddenly July 13 at work. He was a plumber with Local No. 1.

He is survived by his mother, Manuela; his wife, Laura, a member of the staff of the Catholic Television Network, a division of DeSales Media, and their children, Megan, Jessica, Neil and Lindsay; and his brother, Robert.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Woodside.
