Msgr. Thomas Machalski was installed March 10 by Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio as the new pastor of Sacred Heart Church, Bayside. Four other bishops were present in addition to fellow priests and a standing-room-only congregation. The other prelates were Auxiliary Bishops Raymond Chappetto, Neil Tiedemann, C.P., Witold Mroziewski and retired Auxiliary Bishop Francis Reiss of Detroit, Mich.
The people of Bayside are very lucky to have Msgr. Thomas Machalski.
