Dear Editor: In the words of Charlie Brown, “No problem is so big that it cannot be run away from.”

So, as the world tries to isolate possible carriers of the coronavirus, our Southern border remains open because:

1. Democrats view illegal immigration as a breeding ground for new Democrat voters;

2. Republicans view illegal immigration as a source of cheap labor.

God bless Donald Trump for trying to secure our country, in spite of both Democrats and Republicans.
