A School Grows in Brooklyn

Cristo Rey Brooklyn (CRB), Flatbush, is not your ordinary Catholic School.

CRB combines advanced instructional techniques, corporate and real-world work experience, and a focus on the spiritual and character development of students in order to prepare them for success in college and beyond.

Jeff & Eliana croppedSince the school’s founding seven years ago, it has realized tremendous growth and success: 100 percent college acceptance rates for the initial graduating classes, record scholarships and grants, growth of extracurricular and athletic programs and a Corporate Work Study Program that ranks amongst the highest in the nationwide Cristo Rey Network.

As a school dedicated to serving families who generally aren’t able to pay for private school education, Cristo Rey Brooklyn has a maximum tuition of $200 per month. However, 90 percent of families receive additional scholarships to support their education, leaving the average family paying $100 per month for their education. This is significantly lower than the next cheapest charging private school, which costs around $600 per month.

In addition, the school is proud to be partnered with Boys Hope Girls Hope, an urban boarding program for young women who attend our schools.

Not only does this program share CRB’s mission to serve underprivileged families, the organization covers up to 95 percent of the cost of education for its scholars, providing additional support after school hours to truly enrich the girls’ lives.

For more information, call the admissions department at 718-455-3555, or visit the school’s website at www.cristorybrooklyn.org. The school also invites parents and potential students to attend its Fall Open House on Nov. 15, 12-3 p.m. Guests will have the opportunity to tour the school, hear more about CRB programs and meet students
