Dear Editor: From time to time I think about Father Rock (“St. John’s Priest Is a ‘Rock’ for Athletes,” Feb. 23). I’ve not met any priest like him before or after. He is one in a million. I searched to see what he is up to these days. Happy to know he is still at it inspiring young people.
The Holy Spirit led me to his church in Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia, where he held a “revival” in the school yard. My daughter and I were reunited with the Catholic Church because of that fateful event. It was epic. It was extraordinary. Father Rock made people feel worthy and respected and even made attending Mass fun. Bless you, Father Rock.
