Gloria Varban, the grandmother of Laura DePalma, a producer with DeSales Media Group, parent company of The Tablet and Nuestra Voz, died Oct. 27.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Mary Queen of Heaven Church, Mill Basin. Burial followed in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, L.I.
