Dear Editor: Free press is the country’s defense against total government control of the people and to hold people in government accountable. Every day the situation seems to get worse. Internet companies like Google censor public opinion. If we want a free democratic society like the one we had the opportunity to grow in, we will have to take an active role in trying to clean out our government agencies and the media.
