Msgr. Steven Ferrari is gearing up for his 2017-18 film festival at St. Teresa Church in Woodside. In a nod to the pastor’s interest in bird watching, the theme is: “For the Birds!” and all of the selections will include feathered friends.

The selections are as follows:

Nov. 11 – “To Kill a Mockingbird” (1962)

Dec. 9 – “Winged Migration” (2001)

Jan. 13 – Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds” (1963)

Feb. 10 – “Fly Away Home” (1996)

March 10 – “The Maltese Falcon” (1941)

April 14 – “Birdman of Alcatraz” (1962)

May 12 – “Birders: The Central Park Effect” (2012)

June 9 – “Bye Bye Birdie” (1963)
