Food Pantries Can Help During Soaring Inflation

By Tablet Staff

As the federal government continues to report record inflation rates, The Tablet wants to offer a service to our readers who are having difficulty in finding affordable meals.

Conversely, if you wish to donate non-perishable food supplies you can find your local pantry as well.

Catholic Charities of Brooklyn and Queens (CCBQ) offers food pantries across the diocese and also aids its affiliated locations in parishes in both boroughs.

CCBQ has a network of food pantries that provide assistance to many families and individuals in need throughout Brooklyn and Queens.

Last year, these pantries as well as the food pantry affiliates helped distribute more than 1 million meals to over 115,000 people.
