With open enrollment for New York State of Health, the official Health Plan Marketplace officially is underway, and Fidelis Care has announced it is ready to assist residents.

“We have spent more than a year preparing for this major change in health care, and every department at Fidelis Care has played an important role,” said Father Patrick J. Frawley, the Brooklyn priest who serves as Fidelis Care president and CEO.

Fidelis Care has upgraded its information technology infrastructure and hired new staff members in key operational areas. Facilitated enrollers are also completing training about the Marketplace health insurance offerings and how to help the public with the enrollment process.
