Letters to the Editor

Family Participation

Dear Editor: I notice the Church congregations are mostly adults. Not a good sign.

The priests at the end of each Mass should remind the people how important it is to instill the importance of God in our lives. It starts with things like saying a prayer at bedtime, together, with the parents.

Also a short “thanks be to God”at the dinner table before meals. Then going to Mass on Sunday, together, as a family.

It’s all part of raising your family. The priests should also mention this, or give a printed sheet at wedding ceremonies and christenings.
