Divine Mercy Sunday Observances

On Divine Mercy Sunday, April 3, Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio will lead a procession at 6 p.m. from St. Frances de Chantal, Borough Park, to and through the Holy Doors at Regina Pacis Basilica, Bensonhurst. Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet will be prayed in five languages.

The Shrine Church of St. Gerard Majella, Hollis, a Holy Door site, will mark the Feast of Divine Mercy with a weekend of praise and worship, April 1-3, with Bob Rice. Call 718-468-6565 or visit stgerardshrine.org.

Divine Mercy Sunday at St. Ephrem, Dyker Heights, begins at 2:30 p.m. Includes St. Faustina’s Praises, the chaplet and Mass celebrated by Father Richard Bretone.

Divine Mercy parish, Greenpoint/ Williamsburg, will host 40 Hours of Devotion, April 1 at 8 p.m. to April 3 at 3 p.m. at the St. Cecilia worship site. Auxiliary Bishop James Massa will be the main celebrant for the 3 p.m. Divine Mercy Mass.

Mary’s Nativity-St. Ann, Flushing, will celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday with a 3 p.m. Mass. Call 718-359-5996.
