Death penalty abolitionist and author of Dead Man Walking, Sister of St. Joseph Helen Prejean and New York State’s last capital defender Kevin Doyle will help celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Cherish Life Circle on Sunday, Oct. 6, at 3 p.m. at the Convent of Mercy, on Willoughby Avenue in Fort Greene.

Free-will offering welcome. A $10 donation is suggested.

Members of The Cherish Life Circle uphold the sacredness of all life, striving especially to eliminate the death penalty, comfort those who have suffered the loss of murdered loved ones and promote restorative justice for offenders.
