“Deacon Roy Dudley was a man of very deep faith. When I first came to the parish he was already sick and I would visit him and got to know what a great man he was,” said Father Belizaire.
“Throughout his time of suffering he never once complained. I would ask how he was feeling and he would always change the subject to what was going on in the parish and what we could do better. His faith gave him tremendous strength and courage.
“He was a man that truly loved God. I mourn him and will truly miss him.”
He is survived by his wife, Relmina and son, Guillaumo.
Burial was in St. Charles/Resurrection Cemetery, Farmingdale.
