The Catholic Youth Organization invites eighth-grade CYO members to express their writing skills by submitting their essay response to the following question:

What values have you learned as a member of the Catholic Youth Organization that will influence you in the future?

ELIGIBILITY: Boys and girls who are currently in eighth grade and are members of the CYO in the Diocese of Brooklyn.

PRIZE: $1,000 scholarship towards their high school tuition/costs for the 2015-2016 school year. The winner will be presented the award at the CYO Hall of Fame Ceremony on Friday, May 15, at the Immaculate Conception Center in Douglaston.
