Incarnation Catholic Academy

Incarnation Catholic Academy in Queens Village is dedicated to providing an excellent academic education for each of its students while imparting a strong Catholic education as well.

Incarnation Catholic Academy encompasses the parishes of Incarnation of Queens Village and the Shrine Church of St. Gerard Majella of Hollis.

Incarnation Catholic Academy is proud to offer:

• Small classes

• An early morning drop-in program starting at 7:15 a.m.

• An after-school care program regularly until 5:50 p.m.

• Enriched academic offerings with the newest innovative teaching methods:
– Library, art, math, science labs, health, foreign language (Spanish), computer, class sets of iPads
– Wireless Internet and SMART Boards
– LabLearner, a comprehensive, hands-on science system

The laboratory set-up, curriculum integration and teacher training are all steps in the process of making science meaningful and enjoyable. Teachers at Incarnation Catholic Academy have embraced and embarked on a journey into a new way of teaching and learning science.

LabLearner Founder, Dr. Keith Verner, states, “It is not enough to prepare our students for the future. We must prepare them to change it.”

Incarnation Catholic Academy is preparing its students to change the world.

So far this year, the students have engaged in:

• A Multicultural Day celebration
• Christmas Concert
• Community service projects

Additionally, all eligible students receive free tutoring and test preparation assistance as needed.

Parents, community residents and all interested persons are encouraged to call the academy to learn more about what it has to offer. Guided tours of the facility can be arranged.
