During this Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy, families gathered at Holy Trinity Church, Whitestone, with Auxiliary Bishop James Massa and Father Joseph Gibino, pastor, for a Holy Hour with exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and a procession around the church grounds on the Feast of Corpus Christi. The bishop’s homily centered on the mercy of God, especially in Jesus’ gift of Himself in the Eucharist. Father Gibino commissioned everyone as Mercy Missionaries and Theodore Musco, executive director, diocesan School of Evangelization, presented pins of the official Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy.
