The Diocese of Brooklyn will take up its annual collection for the national Retired Religious Fund in all parishes on Dec. 10.
The national collection is coordinated by the National Religious Retirement Office of the United States Catholic Conference of Bishops in Washington, D.C. It distributes these funds to eligible religious institutes for their retirement needs.
Its mission is to support, educate, and assist religious insititutes in the United State to embrace their current retirement realities and to plan for the future.
More information about the organization and the collection can found at its websites: usccb.org/nrro or retiredreligious.org.
