Christ the King Wins Consecutive State Federation Titles









The Christ the King R.H.S., Middle Village, boys’ varsity basketball team captured its second straight N.Y.S. Federation title March 22 with a 58-52 win over Long Island Lutheran.

The Royals were down by 14 early on but rallied to take the lead, relying on senior leadership. Senior guard Andre Walker was named tournament M.V.P. after recording a game-high 25 pts.

Senior center Adonis Delarosa tallied six pts., 13 rebounds and three blocks, while senior guard Bryler Paige added 10 pts.

The win marks the Royals’ third federation title in the last five years.
