The Math Team from Christ the King R.H.S, Middle Village, announced a special contest to kick off Catholic Schools Week by sponsoring a Math Memory Contest.
Students are challenged to match the math memorization abilities of the Christ the King Math Team moderator Richard Hartman by reciting Pi to 1000 places and/or the 118 chemical elements of the Periodic Table.
Even though the contest is open only to students of Christ the King R.H.S., all schools are invited to visit the popular Christ the King Facebook Page at www.facebook.com/CTKNY and click on the Math Memory Contest tab to watch videos of Hartman’s amazing abilities and to try their luck!
Tied for First Place
The Christ the King Math Club is now tied for first place in the state out of over 200 high schools competing in the N.Y. State Mathematics League annual math competition.
