The Chancery of the Diocese of Brooklyn has sent an alert to all parishes that Father Wisdom Akalefu has remained in the diocese after having been informed in December, 1999 that he was to leave and return to his home diocese in Nigeria.

Father Akalefu does not have faculties to serve as a priest here. He is asked to contact his bishop immediately.
