Father Robert Lauder and the diocesan Office of Faith Formation, School of Evangelization, are presenting a Catholic Novel series on select Mondays this fall.

The schedule includes:

Shisaku Endo’s “Silence” (A discussion of the novel and film)

Sept. 25
Jack Kerouac’s “Dr. Sax”
With James Keane, M.A.

Oct. 30
Andrew Krivak’s “The Signal Flame”
With Elinor Josenhans, Ph. D.

Nov. 13
Anthony Burgess’ “Earthly Powers”
With Glenn Statile, Ph. D.

Classes will be held at the Immaculate Conception Center in Douglaston, from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

The suggested fee is $40. Checks should be made payable to the Diocese of Brooklyn, and sent to the School of Evangelization, 310 Prospect Park West, Brooklyn, N.Y. 11215. All fees are due Sept. 1.
