Sew Good: Catholic Academy’s Fashion Club Teaches Students Clothing Design Skills

When Beatrix James joined the new fashion club at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Academy, it was just to spend time with her two close friends. The third grader knew nearly nothing about clothing design. Soon, what began as a hobby with friends turned into a passion she could see herself pursuing as a career, flourishing within a community of kids that are always “going to want to play with you.”

St. Francis Prep Student Cycles His Way to the Top of the Nation

Over the past four years at St. Francis Prep, he has taken nine Advanced Placement classes — four in his senior year — passed all the college exams he has taken so far, and has a perfect GPA. Plus, beyond his academics, he is a competitive cyclist, ranked nationally in his age group.
