Catholic teenagers were on fire with the Holy Spirit at the second Steubenville NYC conference, held on the campus of St. John’s University, Jamaica. The June 24-26 retreat was a transformative experience for many of the 1,600 teens who were inspired to live their faith more openly.

The young adults – who are part of the 400 pilgrims from the Diocese of Brooklyn going to World Youth Day (WYD) in Krakow July 26-31 – are preparing their hearts through service and prayer.

The U.S. should strive for compassion, trust and humility. In order for a community to be successful, there should be some type of understanding of each other instead of focusing on just economics or politics.
