A funeral Mass will be celebrated Jan. 12 at St. John the Baptist Cathedral in Savannah, Ga., for retired Bishop Raymond W. Lessard, who died Jan. 3 at his residence at St. Vincent de Paul Seminary, in Boynton Beach, Fla. He was 85.

Retired Bishop Joseph L. Imesch of Joliet, Ill., died Dec. 22 at Our Lady of the Angels retirement home in Joliet. He was 84.

Sister Kathleen Birmingham, S.C., a Sister of Charity, Halifax, for 59 years, died Nov. 18 at Elizabeth Seton Residence, Mount St. Vincent, Wellesley Hills, Mass. She was 81.

Cardinal Carlo Furno, an Italian cardinal who was a longtime diplomat died Dec. 9 at the age of 94.

Cardinal Julio Terrazas Sandoval of Santa Cruz, the only member of the College of Cardinals who belonged to the Redemptorist order, and the only Cardinal from Bolivia, died Dec. 9 at the age of 79.

Sister Catherine Rorke, S.C., a Sister of Charity, Halifax, for 64 years, died at Elizabeth Seton Residence, Mount St. Vincent, Wellesley Hills, Mass., Dec. 9.

Sister Adeline Orlandini, M.P.F., 85, a member of the Religious Teachers Filippini for 67 years, died at Bayonne Medical Center, Bayonne, N.J., Dec. 1.
