A New York court will hear the appeal from the Archdiocese of New York to keep the body of Fulton J. Sheen in New York’s Saint Patrick’s Cathedral. Sheen is one of the 20th century’s most well-known televangelists and his cause for canonization has been indefinitely suspended due to legal disputes between the archdiocese of New York and the diocese of Peoria, Illinois.
