The youth at Holy-Family, St. Thomas Aquinas parish, Park Slope, got creative in order to raise funds to send a delegation to World Youth Day 2013 in Brazil. Starting from the top: the group sold snacks in the parish courtyard; youth encourage parishioners to throw a coin into their wishing well; and the youth group thinks on their feet and transforms a food sale into a visit from Santa Claus. To the left pilgrims take a well deserved brake and go kayaking together under the Brooklyn Bridge.
