For the 11th straight year, Calvary Hospital has been honored for the “consistent highest level of customer satisfaction” by Press Ganey Associates, Inc.

Calvary Hospital, based in the Bronx, with a satellite division at NYU Lutheran Hospital in Sunset Park, was presented the Beacon of Excellence and Guardian of Excellence Awards. The awards are given based on patient satisfaction and for extraordinary achievement.

Among Calvary’s achievements: an unbroken track record of accreditation from the Joint Commission for Calvary Hospital and Calvary Home, and being designated by the National Cancer Institute in 2005 as an “international center for training in palliative care.”
