St. Patrick Catholic Academy, established in 2013, is located within the grounds of St. Patrick Church in Fort Hamilton, Brooklyn.
The academy builds upon the 150-year history of St. Patrick Parish Elementary School by continuing to provide an exemplary Catholic education for students. The faculty honors the legacy of the Sisters of St. Dominic, who ministered to the children of St. Patrick School for over 100 years, by continuing their charism of truth, prayer, study, common life, mission and praise.
The mission is to provide students with an education rooted in the belief that the basis for all learning is spiritual and intellectual. The academy fulfills its mission with a dedicated partnership of administration, faculty and parents working cooperatively in nurturing students to be ethical and educated adults who will make a positive impact upon society in the future.
Students are given the opportunity to develop their talents in a caring environment that promotes individual learning styles. The instructional program develops students’ listening, writing and study skills enabling them to comprehend, analyze and synthesize knowledge across all curriculum areas.
