Brooklyn Chinese Celebrate Fun Day

The Brooklyn Chinese Apostolate Lay Committee organized a Summer Fun Day in the gym and parking lot of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) Basilica, Sunset Park. Participants enjoyed receiving balloons from the clown, having their faces painted, jumping in the bouncer, getting wet on the water slide, challenging each other at the table games, eating good food and enjoying great performances. It was also a historic event because it was the first-ever organized by the Brooklyn Chinese Apostolate Lay Committee, coordinated by Father Vincentius Do. Members include parishioners from St. Rosalia-Regina Pacis, Bensonhurst; St. Agatha, Bay Ridge; and OLPH. The Knights of Columbus sponsored the barbecue.
