The Vicariate of Black Catholic Concerns conducted a Black Catholic History Month Convocation Nov. 4 at St. Teresa of Avila-St. Anthony of Padua parish, South Ozone Park. Guest speakers included Dr. Ansel Augustine, Carlos Wallace and Victoria Baynes Lopez. In attendance were Auxiliary Bishop Neil Tiedemann, C.P., and retired Bishop Guy Sansaricq.
