Bensonhurst’s Holy Riders

No, Msgr. David Cassato and Father Ronald D’Antonio are not starting their own motorcycle club (not yet, at least), but they did celebrate their 45th and 40th anniversaries of priestly ordination, respectively, riding motorcycles outside of the parish they serve, St. Athanasius in Bensonhurst.

Father D’Antonio’s anniversary Mass of thanksgiving fell on the same day as the parish’s annual blessing of motorcycles, May 21, so he and the pastor had some fun with their parish family. Msgr. Cassato’s anniversary Mass was held the following week. (Photos: Bill Riordan)
