High School Supplement 2015

At Holy Cross, Students Enter as Boys, Leave as  Men

TAB_19_Page_10_Image_0002There are many elements that distinguish Holy Cross as a top choice for families searching for the right high school. Smaller class sizes allow teachers to personally know and interact with students, and prevent student from being lost in the crowd. Instruction is personal, and students are treated as individuals and receive the support and resources needed to succeed academically.

Students are challenged to become the best version of themselves through several academic programs, including the St. Brother Andrè Enrichment Program, the Blessed Father Basil Moreau Honors Program, the Science Research Program and the AP and college courses offered through St. John’s University College Advantage Program. The incoming class of 2020 will be the first to participate in an exciting new program where Holy Cross is providing a Google Chromebook to every incoming freshman that will be integrated with last year’s adoption of Google Classroom.

With over 60 years of experience educating young men, Holy Cross knows how boys learn and the challenges they face. The school possesses the resources required to help these boys succeed academically. Faculty members have the insight, experience, and resources required to not only teach in an all-boy environment, but also develop students into the type of young men that make their families proud. Boys learn differently than girls, and at Holy Cross that philosophy is fully embraced. Students are challenged and taught in a format that boys respond to best with academic programs that are both rigorous and relevant.

Additionally, the school provides these students with a safe and consistent routine, allowing each student to reach his full potential.

Holy Cross prides itself on teaching students that actions have consequences, with a focus on preparing these students not just for college, but for life. At the end of four years at Holy Cross, not only do the boys grown into successful, confident and moral young men, they also create a bond with their fellow classmates that cannot be broken.

Students enter as boys, grow as brothers and leave as Holy Cross Men!
