Letters to the Editor

Against Democracy

Dear Editor: Your newspaper publishes assorted letters in favor or against conservative and liberal positions. I believe there is no doubt which of the two main parties is conservative, and which, liberal or progressive.

It has been recognized that conservatives not only give more money to charitable organizations, but also, contribute more with their personal services to them.

And from the argument that Catholics vote more one way or the other, it has been stated that Churchill would have said that the strongest argument against democracy would be to talk for five minutes with the average voter.

Too many people vote their personal interest first, and the common good… they don’t even know what that means.

WE SHOULD PRAY FOR LOVE INSTEAD OF HATRED.
