Dear Editor: Ordinary Catholics do not naturally want Ukraine to be sovereign (“Catholics Cautiously Watch As Orthodox Christians Split,” The Tablet, Oct 13). We do not take sides on this issue. Perhaps Moscow could appeal to the Pope.
