St. Frances de Chantal parish, Borough Park, offered opportunities for families to bless Easter baskets every hour on the hour from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Holy Saturday. Polish families brought staples of the traditional Easter breakfast to church to be blessed and then shared together as a family on Easter morning as the first food after Lent.
