Students from St. Agnes Academic H.S., College Point, and St. John the Baptist H.S., West Islip, L.I., participated on a Youth Preaching Weekend March 11-13. The young people joined the Sisters of St. Dominic of Amityville to celebrate National Catholic Sisters Week. Students made signs with words used to describe the sisters. These included: friendly, loving, prayerful, fun people, free spirits, interesting, inspirational, dedicated, caring and gentle but strong.
