Father Robert Lauder and the Office of Faith Formation, School of Evangelization will present the 50th Friday Film Festival at the Immaculate Conception Pastoral Center, Douglaston, on six Fridays in the fall. The schedule includes:
Sept. 11 – Sidney Lumet’s “Network,” starring William Holden, Faye Dunaway and Peter Finch
Sept. 18 – John Huston’s “The Maltese Falcon,” with Humphrey Bogart, Mary Astor, Sidney Greenstreet and Peter Lorre
Sept. 25 – Arthur Hiller’s “The In-Laws,” starring Alan Arkin and Peter Falk
Oct. 2 – Brian Percival’s “The Book Thief,” with Geoffrey Rush, Sophie Nelisse and Emily Watson
Oct. 16 – Sam Wood’s “Kings Row,” with Ronald Reagan, Ann Sheridan, Robert Cummings and Claude Rains
Oct. 23 – Preston Sturges’ “Christmas in July,” with Dick Powell, Ellen Drew and Raymond Walburn
