About 2,000 members of Bensonhurst parishes took part in the annual outdoor Good Friday procession. Led by Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio, the line of march went two miles through the streets, ending with a prayer service and blessing with a relic of the True Cross outside Regina Pacis Basilica. People carried crosses as well a statue of the Sorrowful Mother and the ­Body of Jesus.
