Only in Print: Experts, Bishops Signal Support for Vaccines

BATH BEACH — John Mazzola contracted COVID-19 in March. “I had terrible back pain. I had a cough that I couldn’t get rid of. And I had really bad fatigue for two and a half weeks,” he recalled.

Mazzola, a member of the parish pastoral council at St. Finbar Church, Bath Beach, made a quick recovery. But the memory of his ordeal lingers: “The worst part was the fatigue …”
