Dear Editor: I am struck by the contrast between the front page article on President Trump’s address to the March for Life and the column by Edith Avila Olea (“What Is the Value Of Life,” Feb. 1).
The columnist calls for a broad pro-life stance that would make childbearing and child rearing safe and affordable, so that no one need seek an abortion out of financial desperation.
The President’s administration, on the other hand, has cut back on health care. The President may be anti-abortion but it is Olea who is pro-life.
