BAYSIDE — Latin isn’t really a dead language — at least not in the Diocese of Brooklyn, where three parishes have weekly Traditional Latin Masses.
The presence of many young families at those Masses is a sign that the revival of this form of the Mass may have some staying power in Brooklyn and Queens. St. Josaphat, Bayside, and Transfiguration, Maspeth, both offer the Mass in Queens, while Our Lady of Peace, Gowanus, offers it in Brooklyn.

Wonderful.This will be a source of many vocations for the Diocese of Brooklyn.I hope the bishop will invite traditional congregations of priests and sisters into the Diocese.There are many schools that could be revived with young religious sisters.We also need a daily EF form mass in Brooklyn.How about a church in Bay Ridge?There is no weekly EF mass near Bay Ridge/Dyker Heights.
