Sister Rosemary Anne Kern, C.S.J., who taught CCD at several parishes in the Diocese of Brooklyn, died on Aug. 26, at Maria Regina Residence in Brentwood, L.I. She was a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Brentwood for 64 years and served at the following parishes in the Brooklyn Diocese: St. Malachy, Brooklyn, 1958-62; Immaculate Heart of Mary, Brooklyn, 1962-66; Holy Spirit, Brooklyn, 1966-69; Holy Child, Richmond Hill, 1969-83; and St. Benedict Joseph Labre, Richmond Hill, 1983-2006. Her funeral Mass was held in Maria Regina Chapel, Brentwood. Burial followed at Calvary Cemetery, also in Brentwood.
