Sister Therese Marie Camardella, C.S.J., a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Brentwood for 73 years, died on Aug. 31 in St. Joseph Convent, Brentwood. She entered the congregation in 1946 from St. Theresa’s Parish in Brooklyn. She served at Immaculate Heart of Mary, Brooklyn, 1948-54, and St. Anthony of Padua, Brooklyn, 1954-57. She later served as a chaplain at Methodist Hospital, Brooklyn, from 1991-2006. She served for many years in Puerto Rico. Her funeral Mass was at Sacred Heart Chapel in Brentwood. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery there.
