Dear Editor: Once again, Catholics are being overlooked and discredited (“Mother Cabrini Statue Nixed Despite Vote,” Aug. 24).
Why open the contest to the public, if she was going to choose who she wanted in the first place? Of the women nominated Mother Cabrini is the best suited. The other comment, is to remember that elections have consequences. I didn’t, and wouldn’t have voted for de Blasio.
