Patrick Morgan, 61, of Belle Harbor, died July 5 at the age of 61 after a nine-year battle with leukemia.

Born in Brooklyn, he was an Account Executive for most of his 36 year career at AT&T, retiring in 2014. He spent 15 years on the Board of Directors of the Dorothy Bennett Mercy Center, a non-profit sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy in Brooklyn.

He was a multi-instrumentalist in local bands spanning 40 years, most notably with the Moran Brothers and Solshyne.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated July 9 at St. Francis DeSales, Belle Harbor.

Burial was at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mary, a daughter Theresa Turchiano, a son Jerry, and four siblings – John, Maureen, Brian, and Shelia.
